Absolutely!! Love this vehicle
by Steve on 8/1/2025 12:08:11 AM
I could not be happier with the 7 series. First, the 740i has got more than enough "oomph" to get up and go when you need it. The powertrain is buttery smooth and oh my is this one deceptively if not scary quick! Cabin, like many ultra luxury vehicle, is supremely quiet. The big kidney grills...they have grown on me and to be honest--they just fit. Admittedly, it's a big, yes BIG land cruiser but rides smooth and handles way better than some critics have mentioned. Granted in terms of agility, a bit numb but not terribly so. Not as bad as Lexus but less than old school BMW where you really felt the road. However, with nearly six decades on this ball of mud...I like Lexus and BMW does it better...IMO. Multi-contoured, heated and cooled seating with massage=this side of Heaven. An eight hour drive feels like four! And while there is certainly a higher cost to be sure, ultra luxury vehicles ain't supposed to be cheap. I've owned versions of the A8 and LS in the past and I've considered the G90 for a minute but I really lean toward BMWs. Ultra luxury is ridiculously expensive as it is and the S-Class is otherworldly expensive. It's why preowned six figure luxury on a dime is my wheelhouse. And those with a stellar history of preventative maintenance is a bargain waiting for a buyer. If there is an area I avoid it is eight cylinder engines. And the BMW 750i is no different. I purposely avoid it for three specific reasons. Insurance is easily 30% higher, the 500+HP V8 sucks up fuel premium fuel and unnecessary on American freeways, repair costs are even higher (think N63 engine here) and with that much growl... an inevitable speeding ticket. On the other hand, the 740i is the quintessential sweet spot. Gets me where I want to go, when I want to go fast enough, in Hollywood style for less than a cost of brand new Honda Accord. And now ya know :) - 5.0
High performance meets high level luxury

Bought my 2020 m760 in 2024 with 16k miles. Drove it home - 1000+ miles. Wow. Incredible car. Super quiet and comfortable. Incredible and immediate power from the twin turbo v-12. No issues. Love the car. - 5.0
Best car I have ever owned!

I have had zero issues with this car. Rides smooth, fast and reliable. Don't care for run flat tires.
